Tonight will be a fun night at the United Center as the Blackhawks oldest rival will be in town. The Hawks look to close out this four-game homestand with a perfect 4-0-0 record as the Red Wings look to stay alive in the Atlantic Division playoff race.

If the season ended today, the Red Wings streak of 25 straight Stanley Cup playoff appearances would be over. They are currently seven points out of third place in their division and nine points out of the second wild card spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Wings have been hit with a ton of injuries this year but they will get some reinforcements tonight as both forward Justin Abdelkader and defenseman Mike Green have returned to the lineup.

Joel Quenneville will stick with the same lineup that brought home wins against the Carolina Hurricanes and Nashville Predators. Corey Crawford will start in goal for the Hawks and will be opposed by Petr Mrazek at the other end.

Stat of the day: Corey Crawford is 14-3-4 with a 1.90 goals against average and a .939 save percentage in 21 career games against Detroit.
