Air Canada Center – Toronto, ON
TV: CSN ChicagoAfter defeating the Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators, the Chicago Blackhawks look for the sweep of Eastern Canada with a win tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Someone who has not only helped put the Hawks in a position for the sweep and back to leading the Central is reigning Hart Trophy winner, Patrick Kane. Kane has 17 points in his last 10 games and an incredible 16 goals and 12 assists in his last 18 games.
On the other side of the ice, Leafs rookie sensation Auston Matthews has been held off the scoresheet for his last seven games. The Leafs have still been able to grab four wins in those seven games.
Kane knows how it is to be on both sides of that.
"Hockey is kind of a funny sport like that," Kane said. "You see a lot of guys go through stretches where they're not scoring, then they get really hot. And once you get hot, you just have that good feeling, and confidence is a huge part of this game."
Corey Crawford is already the confirmed starter for the Hawks while Frederik Andersen should see starting duty for the Leafs.
