Chicago Blackhawks recalled a trio of players from the Rockford IceHogs on Tuesday afternoon as forwards Kyle Baun and Tyler Motte along with defenseman Erik Gustafsson are returning the NHL.

Baun was a surprise addition to the 2015-16 opening night roster after playing three games at the end of the 2014-15 following his college career at Colgate.  He has zero points in five NHL games, but had a career high 14 goals and 34 points for the IceHogs in 74 games this season.

Motte had four goals and seven points in 33 games for the Blackhawks this season to go along with 42.9 Corsi For percentage.  He was sent down to Rockford right after the New Year and had 10 goals and 16 points in 43 AHL games.

Gustafsson spent the entire season with the IceHogs this year after picking up 14 assists in 41 games with the Blackhawks last season.  He also played in five playoff games versus the St. Louis Blues last spring.

It is doubtful that any of these players will crack the lineup during the remainder of the postseason.
