The Chicago Blackhawks continue to be stuck in neutral with another loss on Wednesday night, the team still continues to find the right combinations up front.

With Matt Duchene off the board, one of the top remaining players on insiders trade bait boards is Evander Kane of the Buffalo Sabres.

The Blackhawks Up blog points out that John Jaeckel had mentioned around the draft the Hawks were pushing to land Evander Kane. The blog brings up Kane as a goal scorer with tough and physical play which could be a good combination to play with Patrick Kane.

Evander has 12 goals in 22 games so far this season including three in his last five. The 26 year old is a free agent this upcoming summer, and with the Sabres continuing to struggle has high possibility of being moved.

With Sabres scouts watching Rockford just a couple of nights ago, who exactly would they be looking at?

Sean Fitzgerald of Blackhawk Up speculates it's Vinnie Hinostroza.

Would you be willing to trade a prospect like Hinostroza for a Kane?
