The Chicago Blackhawks are a mess right now.

After firing long time head coach Joel Quenneville things haven't gotten better at an NHL level and it doesn't look like it'll get better anytime soon.

The team sits in second to last place in the Western Conference only two points ahead of the St. Louis Blues and Los Angeles Kings who both have 21, but at least there's some hope for the future.

Blackhawks' prospects Nicolas Beaudin, MacKenzie Entwistle and Ian Mitchell have all been named to Team Canada's selection camp for the 2019 World Juniors in Victoria, British Columbia.

Beaudin has eight goals and 20 points in 18 games so far in the QMJHL, Entwistle has 13 goals and 24 points in 26 games in the OHL and Mitchell has 11 points in 12 games at the University of Denver of the NCAA.

With probably another top 10 pick at the 2019 NHL draft it gives Blackhawks' fans a bit of hope for the future as things seem pretty dark right now in the NHL.
