The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman are expected to make some moves over the next two weeks to get the team going again.
Amongst the moves apparently sits the idea of bringing in veteran winger Corey Perry.
The former 50 goal scorer was bought out by Anaheim last week as the team goes into rebuild mode.
Perry's stats have declined thanks to health issues and his last "Perry" like season came in 2015-16 when he registered 34 goals.
The 34 year old would likely sign for cheap and could probably still contribute in a reduced role, specifically helping out the power play.
Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic reports that the Hawks and Nashville Predators are the two teams that have shown interest right out the gate.
