Just a couple of days after Chicago Blackhawks 2018 first round pick, Adam Boqvist, signed his entry level contract, he made another interesting choice.
The young Swede has decided to leave Sweden for North America, and it's not necessarily for the Blackhawks.
The 17 year old has decided to sign a contract with the OHL's London Knights.
He had been previously drafted by the Knights in the 2017 CHL Import Draft by the Knights.
“We are very excited to receive this commitment from Adam”, said London Knights General Manager, Rob Simpson. “Adam will be a very dynamic and electric player in this league and we are excited to see him in a Knights jersey at Budweiser Gardens.”
