We recently found out the opening schedule for the Chicago Blackhawks as the San Jose Sharks will come to town for the home opener, now we know the whole schedule.

The season opens on October 4th in Philly as the Blackhawks will play the Flyers before coming back to Chicago for the October 12th home opener.

After the San Jose game, the Hawks will be in Chicago for almost all of October welcoming the Winnipeg Jets, Edmonton Oilers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Washington Capitals, Vegas Golden Knights and Philadelphia Flyers before they go to Carolina on October 26th.

They'll get their California road trip out of the way early in November while heading out to Western Canada during the month of February with five games out there.

If you're waiting to give Joel Quenneville a standing ovation when he comes back to town, you'll have to wait until January 21st.

Their final home game will be on March 31st as Andrew Shaw and the Montreal Canadiens come to town.
