It's been a tough last while for Eddie Olczyk.
The Blackhawks analyst had been dealing with colon cancer going back to the beginning of last season and after a tough battle Olczyk announced he's been cancer free since March of 2018.
With Olczyk back in the swing of things this season, the Hawks have announced they'll give him a huge honour.
The former Blackhawks' forward will be given "One More Shift" and honoured on Sunday night when the Blackhawks play the Minnesota Wild.
The "One More Shift" campaign now enters it's third season and has honoured Bryan Bickell, Al Secord, Eric Daze, Troy Murray, the late Stan Mikita, Denis Savard, Steve Larmer, Jeremy Roenick and Ed Belfour.
Edzo will join the team on the ice for the national anthem on #HockeyFightsCancerNight! https://t.co/XSTwc3H1Gj
