The Chicago Blackhawks have hit a bit of a downward spiral.
The team has lost two in a row and are just 3-7-0 in their last 10 watching their hold on the fourth and final playoff spot slip away.
On Monday the Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman announced a couple of roster moves.
Forwards Reese Johnson and MacKenzie Entwistle and defensemen Ian Mitchell, Lucas Carlsson and Wyatt Kalynuk were re-assigned to the taxi squad.
That means a couple of guys had to head back to the AHL.
Forwards Brandon Pirri and Mikael Hakkarainen along with defenseman Alec Regula were sent back to Rockford of the AHL.
