The Chicago Blackhawks announced that they've added some veteran depth on the wing during free agency.
The team and general manager Stan Bowman announced the signing of Chris Kunitz to a one year contract.
Kunitz has been a presence on four Stanley Cup teams, one with the Anaheim Ducks and three times with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
He's also helped Team Canada on their way to Olympic Gold.
He signed a one year deal with the Tampa Bay Lightning last year and put up 13 goals in 82 games.
