The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager finally got one of their most important contracts out of the way.

While the deal isn't official yet, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports the deal is pretty much complete.

It's just a matter of a couple of dollars now but Lazerus reports it'll be a three year deal.

"A league source said a deal is close, and Kubalik is expected to sign for three years at around $3.75-$3.9 million per season. That’s a good number and a good term for the Blackhawks, though they obviously have some money to spare now that they’ve decided to go young in goal."

What do you think of Kubalik's new deal?
