The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman announced a couple of roster moves on Monday.
The team locked up a couple of their prospects as they signed two forwards.
Both Mikael Hakkarainen and Tim Soderlund have both been signed to three year contracts through the 2021-22 season with a $925k AAV.
Hakkarainen registered 47 points in 42 games last year with the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the United States Hockey League.
Soderlund spent last season with both the Frolunda HC and Skelleftea AIK of the Swedish Hockey League and put up five points in 26 games and nine points in 22 games.
More to come.
