The Chicago Blackhawks dropped another game on Sunday night and they also lost one of their best defenseman.
Hawks' blueliner Adam Boqvist took an elbow from St. Louis Blues forward Oskar Sundqvist and left the game and didn't return.
On Monday the NHL Department of Player Safety announced they made a decision regarding the play.
Sundqvist has been fined $5,000 for roughing Adam Boqvist.
This is what Colliton said after the game.
"I think it’s an unnecessary hit. There’s nothing wrong with finishing your check, but there was no reason, no reason for the contact to his head. It was totally unrelated to the play. It was late. He was trying to get him. So he did."
