The Chicago Blackhawks open up their 2019-20 season this afternoon against the Philadelphia Flyers at 1PM CT.

Head coach Jeremy Colliton has had to deal with some question marks on his blueline and he's got his answers now as he's confirmed  Calvin de Haan isn't ready to get back into action.

The Blackhawks head coach has also kept his starting goalie secret over the last couple of days but confirmed this morning it'll be Corey Crawford.

Crawford will go up against young star goalie Carter Hart of the Philadelphia Flyers.

Alex DeBrincat who just signed an extension will skate alongside Dylan Strome and Andrew Shaw who makes his first official start in his return to the Blackhawks after a couple of years in Montreal.
