On the same day the Chicago Blackhawks signed goalie Collin Delia to a three year deal, we've got some news regarding goalie Corey Crawford.

The Hawks goalie has been skating with the team for awhile now however hasn't been cleared for anything serious.

On Monday while speaking to reporters, Crawford made a very interesting statement to reporters.

The Hawks' goalie said “I feel great. Back to normal.”

Crawford did however add that he hasn't discussed any possible return date with the team however he hopes it's sooner rather than later.

It would put the Hawks in a very interesting position as Delia seems to have earned a roster spot and Cam Ward has a no movement clause.

Delia wouldn't have to clear waivers to be sent to the AHL.
