The Chicago Blackhawks have some nice up and coming talent in the pipeline and general manager Stan Bowman will be looking to strengthen the team.
While the Blackhawks missed the playoffs again, things are definitely looking on the up and up for the team.
One player they were connected to a bit during the season as he'll likely hit free agency is former Hawks' forward Artemi Panarin.
According to Larry Brooks of the New York Post, the Chicago Blackhawks will likely take part in the bidding war to land Panarin along with the New York Rangers, New York Islanders and Florida Panthers.
Panarin will likely be attracted to the bright lights of New York City, being reunited with Joel Quenneville in Florida or reunited with Patrick Kane in Chicago.
All have their benefits for the forward.
The Blackhawks will have around $18-25million in salary cap space this summer.
Would you pay up the big bucks to bring him back?
