The Chicago Blackhawks and general manager Stan Bowman are prepping for another interesting offseason.

The team just like every year will be in a salary cap crunch and it'll be interesting to see who this year's casualty will be.

A lot of Hawks fans wish it would be Brent Seabrook and his massive contract, however it's extremely unlikely to happen thanks to his full no movement clause.

Instead, many believe center Artem Anisimov will be the casualty whether through trade or through buy out.

The 30 year old has a modified no trade clause which kicks in at the beginning of the season so it wouldn't be surprising to see Anisimov moved before it kicks in.

His faceoff win percentages are down as are his point totals, however he can still be considered a reliable third line center for a team that needs center depth.

Would you be surprised if Anisimov is moved with Nick Schmaltz climbing up the depth chart?
