The Chicago Blackhawks have been labeled as likely sellers at the upcoming NHL trade deadline.
A couple of the names we've heard the most are Chris Kunitz, John Hayden and Andreas Martinsen.
However it sounds like general manager Stan Bowman might have some trouble moving Kunitz.
Chicago Tribune Blackhawks reporter Jeremy Greenfield states that Kunitz isn't likely to waive his no movement clause.
Greenfield adds that Kunitz has 3 small kids and came to Chicago to stay put. The veteran already has four Stanley Cup rings and would likely end up a healthy scratch where he ends up anyways.
Don’t see why Kunitz would waive his NMC. He’s got 3 small kids, came to Chicago to stay put and already has four rings. Plus, he might be healthy scratched where he goes anyway. https://t.co/u81PMlsQaM
