Earlier in the week, general manager Stan Bowman held his end of year press conference regarding the state of the Chicago Blackhawks.

When speaking to the media, Bowman was asked about Hawks forward Marian Hossa who missed the entire season.

"At this point, there’s no indication that he’s going to play next season. His medical condition is unchanged." Bowman said.

With three years left on his contract, that's not exactly what anybody wants to hear.

Hossa's brother, Marcel, is currently in the middle of the playoffs in the Slovak Tipsport League and Marian spoke with Slovak media while watching his brother.

Marian revealed that he will have a big sit down meeting with owner W. Rockwell Wirtz and president John F. McDonough about his future with the Hawks.

Is a buyout imminent? Will they ask Hossa to retire?

We'll have to wait a see, but according to multiple reports it looks like his career is over.
