The Chicago Blackhawks moved out goalie Robin Lehner at the trade deadline and it seems it was because of a contract dispute.
Lehner was apparently willing to take a little bit of a discount if the Hawks gave him a three year deal.
That deal never came and it seems the Blackhawks are willing to roll the dice with their goalie situation going into next season.
We don't know the money side of it, but we've got an idea of what the Hawks were willing to offer Lehner term wise.
According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Blackhawks weren't willing to offer Lehner more than a two year deal.
Based on his performance and the fact he's only 28 years old, would you have liked to see the general manager Stan Bowman offer Lehner longer term?
