While the Chicago Blackhawks are rolling along at training camp and looking good, general manager Stan Bowman continues to work towards next season.
Bowman always in the mix for Euro free agents is right in there once again.
According to The Athletic's Scott Powers, the Blackhawks are making a strong push for a 24 year old forward from overseas.
Pius Suter opted out of his Swiss NLA contract recently after registering 53 points in 50 games in hopes of signing an NHL contract.
While the Blackhawks aren't the only team in the mix, they seem to be the leading team and Suter's agent says an NHL contract will be signed in the coming days.
