The Chicago Blackhawks have got a bit of bad luck since the opening of training camp and it doesn't look like things are getting better.

Chicago already has a tough matchup against Edmonton to begin with and without Corey Crawford it definitely looks tougher.

To top it off there's plenty of question marks regarding the blueline and it sounds like they might be without another defenseman.

According to Scott Powers of The Athletic, it's more than likely Brent Seabrook doesn't play against Edmonton.

"Brent Seabrook is going to need time to come back. It’s difficult to envision him playing in this series unless the Blackhawks really need him. The reality is they might need him depending on the statuses of Calvin de Haan and Connor Murphy.

Seabrook’s instincts are still there. He’s made some quality passes and hasn’t shown any tentativeness to throw around his body in the scrimmages. It’s a matter of being able to play at game speed. He looks a step slower and is not moving as naturally. A lot of that is expected coming off two hip surgeries."

As the bad news continues to pile up, do you think the Hawks have any chance of taking out the Oilers?
